I have such fond memories of working with Gareth during the early years of my career. He would come to the GOC office, sit with us and just bring an absolutely joyful energy to the afternoon. I enjoyed observing his leadership style too. As serious as he could be, he also had a touch of (sensible) humour and knew how to bring people together expertly. The news of him passing is very sad and I send my condolences to all who were close to him.
